Here are a couple of pictures I took for some friends at the beach...great fun! (I had more but unfortunately lost them when my hard drive crashed a couple weeks ago :( Thankfully the family has them all on CD!)
I had the privilege of being the photographer for Sandra and Joe's wedding in August. It was a gorgeous wedding, and I had a blast! Here are a few favorites (of the 1200+ pictures I took that day!):
Here's another maternity shoot I had the privilege of doing. I went to high school with Gayle and Tanner, so it was so fun working with them. And it's so difficult to choose a few photos to post--so many turned out really well!
As I mentioned, I love to capture my own kids on camera. They haven't gotten tired of having it in their face all the time, thankfully! Here are a few of my girls:
My friend Janell asked if I could come take some pictures of her family at a house they were taking care of for friends. It had a beautiful yard and she didn't want to miss the chance to get some pictures done!
Hi and welcome to the new website for Rachelle Shultz Photography!
I've always looooved taking pictures. I got my first camera when I was 6...from a teen in my dad's youth group. It used 110 film, and I loved taking pictures with it. In grade school I took my camera with me to outdoor school and went through rolls and rolls of film. I remember another kid asking me if I was going to work for National Geographic or something.
I got my first digital camera right before my oldest daughter was born in 2003. It wasn't a very nice one, but it worked for our needs. I moved up to better ones, until last year I bought a DSLR. I originally bought it so I could take beautiful pictures of my kids...but I've decided to make a go of turning it into more than that.
I will be posting some samples of pictures I've taken. Below, you can click on the labels to see all of the posts of each type. If you're interested in having a session, email me at rachelleshultz@gmail.com or check out my fan page on Facebook.
